This Guy Spent $1000 To Treat Chick-Fil-A Diners

A generous customer in Abilene, Texas is making headlines after giving $1,000 in cash to his local Chick-fil-A to pay for as many people's meals as the money lasted. He ended up paying for 88 chicken drive-thru meals at the West Texas fast food spot for about an hour. Chick-fil-A workers were stunned and thought the man had just won the lottery. His response? It was Monday and he just wanted to make everyone's day better.

"John" (the generous customer did not want to give his real identity) actually ended up getting a free meal from staff for his kind gesture.

Many of the customers he paid for were puzzled and even shocked. One lady reportedly burst into tears upon hearing the story because she had been having an awful day.

This random act of kindness reminds us of the Starbucks "pay it forward" chain last month at a Florida Starbucks drive-thru that lasted for 11 hours and 378 people.
