Viral Craigslist Ad For 'BBQ Dad' Wants Bill Murray To Fill The Role

A group of men in Spokane, Washington, wanted the perfect backyard barbecue, but were only missing one thing: a father figure to grill and talk about dad things. The 20-somethings, who asked to be identified as "The Boys," posted an ad on Craigslist in search of a barbecue dad, which has since gone viral, piquing the interest of many. Now, the group says it will only consider one barbecue dad: actor Bill Murray.

"With all the publicity, we've decided to 'Go Bill or Go Home.' Bill Murray that is," Dane Anderson, a representative for "The Boys," told HuffPost. "We are dead-set on getting Bill to be our father figure #BillOrBust."

It's a tall order, but anything can happen through the power of social media. Unfortunately, the ad states that the job isn't paid, but will provide food, beer, and the opportunity to "grill for a few hours, then sit back and crack open a few cold ones with the boys."
