Trump Demands Two Scoops Of Ice Cream At The White House, Everyone Else Gets One

The president apparently has a weakness for ice cream.

In a lengthy interview with President Donald Trump published in Time magazine on May 11, there are many revelations made: that he admits he "could" be at fault for a combative White House; that he believes the only health care "mistake" he made was setting an initial deadline; and more. But for some in the media, the biggest takeaway comes from a sidebar accompaniment to the main story — called "Donald Trump After Hours" — which reveals some small details about the likes and preferences of the most powerful man on the planet.

It's well-known that Trump has a weakness for fast food and junk food, but this lengthy profile confirms it:

"When the chicken arrives, he is the only one given an extra dish of sauce. At the dessert course, he gets two scoops of vanilla ice cream with his chocolate cream pie, instead of the single scoop for everyone else," according to Time.

The White House kitchen staff seem to be already trained to provide the president with "a little extra something" at mealtimes. Apparently though, Vice President Mike Pence is a little healthier:

"The tastes of Pence are also tended to. Instead of the pie, he gets a fruit plate."

This is not the only time we've learned about Trump's eating and drinking preferences from a media interview. In an April Associated Press interview, he revealed that he pushes a button on his desk in the Oval Office to automatically order a Coca-Cola.
