Rapper Azealia Banks Bought A Duck On Thanksgiving And Now She Wants To Be A Farmer
Not 24 hours after we brought you the story of Jason Brown, the incredible football player-turned-farmer who left his $37.5 million NFL contract to start his own farm in North Carolina and feed the poor, rapper Azealia Banks announced on Twitter that she, too, had been recently struck with the urge to farm.
It started when Banks, the 23-year-old rapper behind the viral debut hit "212" followed by her EP "1991" and studio album Broke with Expensive Taste (all of which contain explicit language and subject matter), tweeted on Tuesday afternoon, December 2, that she had a confession to make:
You guys, i have a confession to make.

When i buy a house it has to have space for a chicken coop. I would raise Black Hens and Bantam Roosters, and have a few silkies as pets

I am against eating silkies! lol, how could you eat a chicken who has a super cool afro??? he's too cool!!! LOL
— AZEALIA ⚓️ BANKS (@AZEALIABANKS) December 2, 2014

Although we can't say for sure how serious Banks is about this new career path, nothing is impossible. Remember, Jason Brown said that he learned to farm by watching YouTube videos.
