President Trump Pushes A Button To Order Coke On Demand

It's no secret that the president enjoys his fast-food indulgences, but did you know that Donald Trump actually has a button on his desk that he uses to order Coke on demand? In a recent lengthy interview with the Associated Press, that small detail has caught everyone's eye.

"A man accustomed to wealth and its trappings, Trump has embraced life in the Executive Mansion, often regaling guests with trivia about the historic décor," writes journalist Julie Pace. "With the push of a red button placed on the Resolute Desk that presidents have used for decades, a White House butler soon arrived with a Coke for the president."

As the excerpt notes, the Resolute Desk has been around the Oval Office for decades, since the Kennedy Administration. A red button was said to be first installed in the Oval Office by President Johnson, whose aides (rumor has it) used it to warn the president when his wife was coming.

However, this is the first known instance of a president installing a red call button on the Resolute Desk itself, and apparently using it to order soda. President Trump has been pictured before with a glass of Coke on his desk:
