Lady Gaga, singer, songwriter, and actress, is now diving into the culinary world with her foreword in her father's new book, Joanne Trattoria Cookbook: Classic Recipes and Scenes from an Italian-American Restaurant.

Gaga's father, Joe Germanotta, owns an Italian restaurant, Joanne Trattoria, on the Upper West Side in New York City. The restaurant was named after Germanotta's sister, who died three months before her 20th birthday.

"Family, food, and love are the foundation upon which Joe and Cynthia Germanotta raised their daughters," according to the book's description. "Built on those same principles, the Germanotta's family-run restaurant is world-renowned for its vibrant hospitality, delicious Southern Italian fare, and warm familial atmosphere."

The book features "a mix of time-tested family recipes and house favorites," "never-before released family photos, heartwarming testimonials, and entertaining anecdotes." It is said to appeal to "both fans and foodies alike."
