In a profile of Kardashian-Jenner matriarch Kris Jenner that discusses, among other things, the early workout tapes she made with Bruce Jenner where she “walks on a very short treadmill” and the time that she and her 81-year-old mother ate marijuana-laced gummy bears, reality television’s most powerful parent reveals that she loves Costco as much as anyone.
From The New York Times Magazine profile, “Where Would the Kardashians Be Without Kris Jenner?”:
“‘Costco is a passion,’ she told me. ‘Costco is like a massage.’ She wanted to pick out the salmon with the herb butter on her own. She wanted to feel around for the best avocados. She did not trust anyone else to check the date stamp on the oatmeal-raisin cookies to see which were baked most recently. ‘They have the most amazing dog beds,’ she said. ‘Don’t even get me started.’ And the specials! ‘During the summer, there’ll be a fabulous surfboard. I don’t surf, but I’ve got to buy a surfboard. I mean, that’s how crazy I am.’”
Considering how enormous her family is, it’s not that much of surprise that she appreciates a good wholesale warehouse — it’s just fun to think about Kris Jenner getting swept up in a good deal.
