Graham Elliot Moves From 'MasterChef' To 'Top Chef' As New Guest Judge

We knew this wouldn't be the last we'd see of judge Graham Elliot. The popular judge and celebrity chef left MasterChef and MasterChef Junior in December, and now he has a new gig as a guest judge on Top Chef, as confirmed by Bravo yesterday. The Chicago chef will join host Padma Lakshmi, head judge Tom Colicchio, and judges Gail Simmons and Richard Blais as a rotating judge on season 14 of the cooking competition show, which is set to premiere this fall.

This season of Top Chef is set against the backdrop of Charleston, South Carolina, so hopefully we can look forward to some serious barbecue competition. Elliot is an alum himself, and appeared and competed on two seasons of Top Chef Masters.

He had previously been a judge on MasterChef for six seasons, and also operates the Graham Elliot Bistro, which opened in Chicago's West Loop in 2012.
