Chrissy Teigen Learned How to Make Outback Steakhouse’s Bloomin’ Onion

Social media maven Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend made the Bloomin’ Onion after requesting the recipe

Model and hilarious social media mom Chrissy Teigen recently wondered (as we all have): How the heck do you make a Bloomin’ Onion?

The famously caloric appetizer at Outback Steakhouse is a deep-fried diet-ruiner, and now Teigen and her singer/songwriter husband John Legend know how to make it, thanks to an ambush team from Outback who arrived at her house to teach them. Before passing out, Teigen revealed on Snapchat the secret to creating the “blooming” effect: You pinch the knife between your hands before cutting the onion for the perfect “bloom.”
