You Might Be Able To Get Your Hands On A Lego 'Gilmore Girls' Luke's Diner Set Soon

If you weren't able to experience the Gilmore Girls Luke's Diner pop-up in New York City in 2016, you might have another chance to experience the iconic fictional eatery, but at a much smaller scale.

Using Lego Ideas, user Rainer Zufall was able to recreate the diner and share with other Lego and Gilmore Girls fans to help make the design a reality. The project has gathered more than 9,000 supporters to date and is close to meeting its goal of 10,000 to get the official review from the brand, which will bring it one step closer to making the diner set available for purchase.

According to Zufall, he designed the Lego version of the diner in honor of his wife.

"The Idea of building Luke's Diner came to me, because my wife is a really big Gilmore Girls fan and she asked me to build Luke's Diner for her. So, since I am a big Lego fan I was glad to do this for her and — here it is," he wrote in the description.
