Trader Joe’s Recalls Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream for Possible Metal Contamination

All lot codes of the ice cream flavor have been removed from store shelves.

Trader Joe’s has voluntarily recalled its Trader Joe's Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream for possibly containing small pieces of metal.

According to the company, no injuries or illnesses have been reported to date and all “affected product has been removed from store shelves and destroyed.”

Consumers are urged to not eat the product, and throw it out or return it for a full refund.
