Trader Joe's Recalls Dark Chocolate-Covered Graham Crackers Because Of Unlisted Milk Ingredient

If you have a dairy allergy and have bought dark chocolate from Trader Joe's, you may need to return it. The grocery store issued a recall over their dark chocolate-covered honey grahams with sea salt on August 25.

The recall specifies that the graham crackers contain milk, which is not listed on the ingredient panel. Those with a dairy allergy may have a reaction if they eat this product. Two such incidents have been brought to the company's attention, and they want to prevent any other incidents.

As a precaution, Trader Joe's has removed the graham crackers from shelves. You can return them to any Trader Joe's store for a full refund.

In 2012, there were two large recalls at Trader Joe's. One of the recalls concerned traces of listeria in diced onions, and the other was for salmonella-tainted peanut butter. There was also a listeria contamination in Trader Joe's bulk and packaged fruits last year.
