Tiny Toast Is The First All-New Cereal Brand From General Mills In 15 Years

Just when you thought you had your classic cereals down-pat, here comes a brand new breakfast bowl to start your morning.General Mills has released a new cereal — Tiny Toast — its first new cereal brand in 15 years.

Each box features small pieces of crunchy toast with fresh fruit like strawberries and blueberries. Toast-shaped pieces of cereal? That sounds pretty familiar, almost like the French Toast Crunch cereal from General Mills that was popular in the late '90s.

"Consumers' tastes continue to evolve, but they remain steadfast in their search for options with wholesome, pantry-friendly ingredients. This inspired our development process, and we went where few brands in the cereal category have gone before, using real fruit," said Alan Cunningham, senior marketing manager at General Mills. "With real ingredients and a truly irresistible taste, we know consumers will agree Tiny Toast was worth the wait."

The bright side: Tiny toast will have zero artificial flavors and no high fructose corn syrup.
