Tickets On Sale For James Beard's Taste America Tour All-Star Dinners In Phoenix

The James Beard Foundation's third annual Taste America 10-city tour, an exclusive media partnership with The Daily Meal, continues its trek across America. For six weeks between September 18 to November 7, food lovers can experience the best culinary creations that local chefs and James Beard All-Stars have to offer.

Next stop on the tour is Phoenix, Arizona. From September 24 through the 26, Taste America All-Star Michel Nischan, Local Star Chris Bianco, pastry chef Rox and Scocos McCreary, host chef Todd Allison, and guest emcee Robert McGrath, will take diners on the kind of gastronomic adventure only this desert region of the United States could offer.

The events kick off Thursday night with the Taste of Fox Restaurant Concepts Reception at Culinary Dropout gastropub on S. Farmer Avenue. Cocktails and tastings from local restaurants will be available to tempt and delight guests. Look out for pork belly with saffron gnocchi from Culinary Dropout, chilled oyster chowder from Little Cleo's Seafood Legend, and charred grape bruschetta from North Italia.

On Friday night, an extravagant five-course dinner created by the featured chefs will be served at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa, a Destination Hotel. Menu highlights from the evenings include pickled heirloom golden beets with goat cheese, watercress, cranberry-pistachio pesto, and barrel-aged sherry bourbon created by chef Todd Allison; and seared wild salmon with ancient grains and wilted greens, created by Michel Nischan.

There are still tickets and hotel packages left for this unique dining experience in one of the up-and-coming American food cities. Grab your tickets here.
