Less than two minutes after receiving the email this morning announcing that reservations for Ruth Krishna’s Tandoori Steakhouse were now open, we discovered that tickets for both seatings — at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. — were completely sold out. There is no word yet on whether a waiting list will be created for all those who were unlucky enough to miss out.
After such an outpouring of interest from people who want to experience what tandoori ribeye steaks cooked with traditional Indian seasonings and sides would taste like, it’s quite possible that David Chang will extend the pop-up. We have contacted his team for more information.
