Taco Bell Is Testing Taco Shells Made Out Of Fried Chicken
Taco Bell is experimenting with the fryer again.Proving that not all taco shells are made from tortillas, the fast food chain is testing out the Naked Crispy Chicken Taco, a taco that's wrapped in a fried chicken "shell" instead of a traditional crispy tortilla. It looks like a breaded white-meat chicken shell filled with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and an avocado ranch sauce, and reminds us quite a bit of the KFC Double Down.
According to Foodbeast, the new menu item is still under wraps, but it's being tested out in Lost Hill, California, for $2.49 per sandwich.
Yum Brands is known for testing out their products in small markets before they go nationwide, so we'll see how that goes. In the meantime, people are definitely getting amped up for this new creation from Taco Bell on Twitter.
Taco Bell's fried chicken taco shell is basically a chicken cutlet sandwich, hold the bread. So it's healthy.
