Someone In Colorado Made A Trump Burger In Time For The GOP Debate

A restaurant in Denver has created a Trump Burger that is sure to get people fired up just in time for the GOP debate in Boulder on October 27.

CityGrille is no stranger to crazy burger concoctions. Their Hangover Burger. a steakburger with homemade jalapeño jelly, cream cheese, bacon, and a fried egg, and The Lobbyist, which is a steakburger with a cranberry-chipotle sauce, brie cheese, and bacon, certainly show that. Sisters and owners of CityGrille Helen Patterson and Nancy Brady thought it was time to make a burger inspired by the 2016 Republican presidential candidate.

"It's been selling like crazy," Patterson told The Denver Post. "People either like Trump, or they don't. It's just for fun."

They fashioned the burger in honor of Trump's signature phrase, "You're fired!" It is topped with two bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers filled with cream cheese, and served with a side of slaw, which could arguably look like the politician's hair.

CityGrille is not the first restaurant to craft a burger after Trump. Lucky Chip Burgers in London made a Donald Trump Burger with Applewood-smoked bacon, American cheese, onions, and a bourbon-vanilla barbecue sauce.
