Shake Shack’s Popular New Chicken Sandwich Is Already Gone
Almost as soon as it was announced, the ChickenShack disappeared — well, temporarily at least. Two days ago, Shake Shack announced the release of its first-ever fried chicken sandwich, available only in Brooklyn for $6.29. Sadly, though, the ChickenShack is already “flying the coop.” After today, the chicken sandwich will be taken temporarily off the menu. But fear not, Brooklynites: The sandwich will be back, at least according to the Shake Shack Twitter account, on July 16.

The ChickenShack, in case you haven’t been up to date on New York’s most popular fried chicken sandwiches, is a crispy all-natural and antibiotic-free chicken breast with lettuce, pickles, and buttermilk herb mayo.
An entire week does seem like a long time to wait for the already-popular sandwich. People are losing their minds over this new Shack addition, so Shake Shack better make this return really quick.
