Roy Choi And Daniel Patterson's Loco'l Is Indiegogo's Most-Funded Food Campaign Ever

With two days to spare, Roy Choi has announced that on the evening of Tuesday, March 17, Loco'l — the chef's sustainable, affordable, and ambitious answer to the current fast food market — has exceeded its $100,000 fundraising goal on Indiegogo.

What's more, at $108,978 as of Thursday morning, Loco'l campaign is Indiegogo's most-funded food project ever. The campaign closes at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, so if you're still interested in contributing, do it today.

To celebrate the campaign's overwhelming success, Choi and Patterson have decided to give every single backer — past, present, and future —a free digital copy of the Loco'l comic book.

No matter the amount, each person who contributed to Loco'l on Indiegogo will get a copy, which will include storylines "where the Loco'l crew guards the precious seeds in a world of synthetic foods. And chef Daniel cooks late into the night to overturn the clown dictator."
