Roberta's Pizza Pop-Up Is Coming To Los Angeles

Roberta's — arguably one of the most popular pizzas in New York and No. 4 on our list of the 101 Best Pizzas in America — is coming to the West Coast. The Brooklyn pizzeria announced this week it would be opening a pop-up shop in Culver City, California, near Los Angeles, for all of December and  January, according to Eater.

The Roberta's pop-up will operate four days a week from Thursday to Sunday, pumping out Brooklyn-style pizza for Los Angelistas to enjoy. The pop-up will also be located next to a tree lot; after you buy your Christmas fir, you can head on over for fresh pizza anytime between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Rumor has it that this pop-up is a test for Roberta's to see if it does well enough for the company to permanently set up shop in the Los Angeles area.

But will the pizza taste the same? If the urban myth is correct, part of what makes New York City pies so magically delicious is the Hudson River tap water; therefore, this pop-up pizza may be lackluster.
