Last weekend, Adult Swim released the long-awaited season three premiere of Rick and Morty with a surprise episode playing on loop for April Fools' Day. Although fans finally got what they wanted, they're now turning to McDonald's to bring back Szechuan McNugget dipping sauce, which debuted in 1998 for the premiere of the Disney film Mulan.
According to Mashable, fans are adamant about the return of the dipping sauce, which is mentioned in the episode, and have even created petitions on Change.org to have McDonald's bring back the special sauce. One petition has even gained more than 15,000 signatures.
Fans have also taken to Twitter to ask the fast-food chain to bring back the sauce, and has even prompted a brief response from McDonald's.

A remake of Mulan is also set to hit theaters next year, so maybe the return of the sauce isn't as far-fetched as you might think.
