On April 4, 80 top connoisseurs of confection from around the world will gather to create a unique tasting experience for guests in order to benefit a good cause. The event, ‘An Evening with the World’s Best Pastry Chefs,’ will benefit City Harvest.
Each of the chefs involved in the event are members of France’s renowned Relais Desserts Association, a members-only group of masters hailing from 19 different countries.
Notable chefs participating at the event include François Payard, Pierre Hermé, Jean-Paul Bardet, and Sadaharu Aoki. They will prepare expertly crafted desserts from all over the world for guests to try.
Additionally, a selection of savory bites will be prepared from notable New York chefs such as Geoffrey Zakarian of The Lambs Club, Ben Pollinger of Oceana, and Matthew Katakis of Butcher Bar.
Tickets are on sale now and 100 percent of the proceeds from the event will benefit City Harvest, a nonprofit organization that works to fight hunger in New York City.
