Pizza Hut's Hot Dog Stuffed Crust Pizza Is Finally Coming To The United States

Fast food and pizza-loving Americans were disappointed when Pizza Hut first introduced the hot dog stuffed crust pizza in Asia, and then brought it over to the U.K. and Australia. It, in fact, took three years for this stuffed-crust creation to make its ways to American shores. But fear not, junk food fans: The hot dog stuffed crust will premiere at American Pizza Hut locations later this month, according to Kotaku.

Although the news is not yet official, and Pizza Hut has not confirmed the existence of these frank-in-pizzas, consumer blog The Impulsive Buy has posted a cryptic advertisement which reads "Something big is coming June 18" alongside a packet of French's mustard and a Venn diagram that shows the intersection of a hot dog and a pizza. No need to call Sherlock Holmes: The birth of the American hot dog stuffed crust pizza is just about here.

In the U.K. version of this dish, the specialty crust is only available for 14-inch pizzas, and is described as "succulent hot dog sausage bursting from our famous stuffed crust, with a free Mustard Drizzle."
