Now You Can Order Food And Alcohol Through The Weather Channel Mobile Website
The Weather Channel is diving into the food scene with a few new features on its mobile website, which will now allow users to order food and alcohol and make reservations through Caviar, Delivery.com, and Resy while checking the weather forecast for the week.
Through the new features, enabled by the mobile commerce integration service Button, the company is able to pull content from a specified location to tailor a user's experience, providing restaurant location recommendations when it's warm and sunny or delivery options for a cold and rainy night, according to the press release.
"We know that weather affects everyone every day and that individuals are constantly seeking the latest information to properly navigate the elements and plan daily activities," Domenic Venuto, general manager of the consumer division at The Weather Company, said in a statement. "Leveraging Button's Marketplace and integrated service partners, we're able to provide an enhanced experience for our mobile web users, helping them make more informed decisions and discover fun daily activities."
