Ai Fiori Joins Prestigious Relais & Châteaux Membership

Ai Fiori, the Michelin-starred restaurant from Michael White, has been accepted into the Relais & Châteaux membership, a prestigious honor that places Ai Fiori in a class of less than two dozen Relais & Châteaux restaurants within the United States that not attached to hotels.

Other restaurants to earn this same distinction include Del Posto, Daniel, Eleven Madison Park, The French Laundry, Menton, Jean Georges, and Ai Fiori's sister restaurant, Marea, to name a few.

"We are honored to be inducted into such a unique association with its deep history in soulful hospitality excellence, said Ahmass Fakahany, CEO and owner of the Altamarea Group.

"We enormously value the Relais & Châteaux standard and the ideals it stands for as well as the important recognition this brings to all our employees and clients."

Chef White first opened Ai Fiori in 2010, and the restaurant has received accolades including three stars from The New York Times, a Michelin star, and the 2012 Zagat guide's distinction as the best new restaurant in New York City.
