McDonald's Is Going To Start Delivering Big Macs To Your Door

Now getting your fast-food fix will be "uber" fast. McDonald's is teaming up with UberEats to test out home delivery in select Florida markets. Approximately 200 restaurants in Orlando, Tampa, and Miami will be accepting digital orders through the UberEATS website or mobile app starting in late January.

UberEATS is the food delivery subsidiary of the Uber car service that currently is running in 50 cities around the world. If the test run is successful, people could soon be ordering McNuggets and fries to their door all over the country and beyond.

Digital delivery is just the latest technological upgrade to come to McDonald's. Earlier this year, the fast-food chain introduced self-serving kiosks and table service. McDonald's will also be launching a mobile app in 2018, following the mobile app success of other companies, like Starbucks, Chipotle, and Dunkin' Donuts.
