For people living busy lives, meal kits can be a savior, providing you with ingredients and easy recipes to make for yourself or your family. Naturally, Martha Stewart partnered with Marley Spoon last summer to launch her own meal kit service, Martha & Marley Spoon, and has now teamed up with AmazonFresh to have the kits delivered straight to your door.

Through this new partnership, consumers can buy individual meal kits without having to fully commit to the weekly meal service, according to Stewart's blog.

"It is so important to cook wholesome, delicious, healthy dinners, and I believe people will enjoy the nutritious and seasonal recipes offered by Martha & Marley Spoon, coupled with the flexibility and convenience of AmazonFresh," Stewart said in a statement.

In addition to the launch of Stewart's meal kits through AmazonFresh, she also made a guest appearance on the first episode of Live from Prince Street with journalist Bill Buford at Dean & DeLuca's flagship store in SoHo. During the podcast, Stewart talked about how meal kits are changing the game — not only do they offer convenience, but they help reduce food waste by providing pre-measured ingredients to customers.

By examining previous orders, the company is able to measure out how much of each ingredient is needed to have virtually no excess food that might be thrown out with traditional grocery shopping.

"It does your shopping, it does your measuring, and it completely eliminates waste," Stewart said in the podcast.
