Marijuana-Infused Pizza Is A Real Thing Now

We've certainly graduated from the pot brownies of our college days. Cannabis-infused gummy candies, lollipops, mints, and even aphrodisiac chocolates are all the rage in states where marijuana is legal. Up until now, the focus has mainly been on sweets, but Ermont Inc., a medical marijuana dispensary in Quincy, Massachusetts, is now selling THC-laced pizza.

The six-inch personal pie comes at a hefty $38 price, but operations manager Seth Yaffe tells Time magazine that the pies have been especially popular with customers who want to feel like they're consuming something more delicious than simply medical. He describes the pizza as "herby, with gooey, crispy cheese."

"We found that patients wanted a food item that they would eat during a normal day," Yaffe told Time. "We wanted to do something that could be considered a full meal."

The personal pizzas come frozen, so customers have to heat them up themselves. The edibles market has been booming since more and more states have legalized marijuana for both medicinal and recreational use.
