This Machine 3-D Prints Pancakes Into Literally Any Shape You Want

You thought eating Pop Tarts or building your own Bloody Marys was the most fun you could have with breakfast? Think again. Somebody has invented the breakfast food invention we all need: a 3-D printer that prints out pancakes in the shape of anything you want.

The PancakeBot is the world's first pancake printer. It allows you to design the shape of your pancake by tracing an image on your computer (a heart, a sports logo, Mickey Mouse, the Eiffel Tower... the list goes on). Then, choose which lines should be drawn first, and select the shading of your pancake. Once you're satisfied with your sketch, simply store your image on an SD card and upload it to the printer. The PancakeBot's arm will soon start working its magic. For even more flapjack fun, you can add food coloring to your pancake batter and make a real edible masterpiece.

This project has already way surpassed its fundraising goal on Kickstarter, raising $101,600 with almost a month left to go. Want one? It'll cost you $299.
