Spring has sprung at Krispy Kreme with the release of its latest doughnut lineup, here for a limited time.
Tony Thompson, President and CEO of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, says, “It’s been a long winter and we think our spring doughnuts are the perfect way to welcome and celebrate the season. Each doughnut is a creative take on the classic symbols of springtime and we know our fans will enjoy sharing them with family and friends.”
The chain is serving up five different doughnuts for spring 2016: Bunny Bum, Chocolate Iced Glazed with Sprinkles, Chick, Egg, and White Iced Sprinkled Egg. Bunny Bum is a heart-shaped doughnut dipped in white and glossy icing, according to a release. It is finished with a dollop of white Kreme™ for the tail and bunny feet made of sugar.
The Chick doughnut is filled with white Kreme™ and dipped in yellow icing and sanding sugar. Chocolate and orange icing are used to decorate the chick. Egg doughnut is filled with chocolate Kreme™, dipped in purple icing, and finished with decorative yellow and green icing.
