KFC Invented a Fried Chicken Pizza Called ‘Chizza’

KFC Philippines and India sell a pizza with a crust made out of fried chicken called the ‘Chizza’

KFC is always finding new ways to reinvent fried chicken, like with the ever-popular Doubledown, but the latest bizarre fried chicken mashup from KFC is the “Chizza”: a menu item that’s currently only available in India and the Philippines.

The Chizza is a “pizza” with a crust made out of fried chicken, also known as fried chicken topped with mozzarella, tomato sauce, and a variety of toppings.Popular toppings in the Philippines are pepperoni, peppers, and pineapple.

If this sounds familiar, it’s because Domino’s introduced fried chicken crust pizza in America in 2014, and, following in its footsteps, Taco Bell rolled out a fried chicken taco shell last year.
