Jonathan Waxman Is Opening Up His First Restaurant In Atlanta

Top Chef Master, chef personality, and Barbuto owner Jonathan Waxman is opening another restaurant in the South.First he debuted Adele's and Bajo Sexto in Nashville, Tennessee, and now the California native will try out his culinary chops in Atlanta.

The as-of-yet-unnamed Italian restaurant will be the chef's first foray into Atlanta, and will open this fall in the Ponce City Market food hall, which is still in the works. The restaurant will "boast strong Italian and New American influences," according to Atlanta Magazine, with bistro pricing: appetizers will be around $7 to $15, entrées $18 to $25.

The rest of Ponce City Market's restaurant lineup is just as impressive. Sean Brock is opening a casual Mexican eatery in the hall called Minero, Top Chef judge Hugh Acheson is opening a coffee shop in the hall called Spiller Park Coffee, and James Beard award-winning chef Anne Quatrano will open W. H. Stiles Fish Camp.
