Hillary Clinton Is A Fan Of Wine Ice Cream

Hillary Clinton admitted on her 2016 presidential campaign trail that she really likes wine ice cream.

The Democratic presidential candidate was campaigning in San Antonio, Texas on October 15 and told a crowd of people about the boozy concoction while addressing the Trans-Pacific Partnership — the free trade agreement currently under negotiation in nine countries.

This is not the first time that Clinton shared her interest in wine ice cream. She expressed her support for wine ice cream at Mercer's Dairy in Boonville, New York. She addressed this at Hamilton College in Clinton, NY in fall 2013.

"Some of our Farm Day guests started pouring their samples of New York wine into their cups of Mercer's ice cream and they loved it," Clinton said, according to Syracuse.com. "And they kept trying new kinds of wine with different kinds of ice cream."

Mercer's Dairy owner Roxaina Hurlburt and her niece Ruth Mignerey created wine ice cream and dubbed Clinton as the godmother of wine ice cream.

The wine ice cream from Mercer's Dairy is available online and can be shipped to the continental U.S. Ice cream shops such as Sedutto 78 in New York City also offers wine ice cream.
