Mark your calendars people: National Donut Day is almost upon us. Dunkin’ Donuts is celebrating the day with free donuts, but the festivities begin two days before.
On June 1, the chain is hosting a series of events on its Snapchat account, dunkindonuts. There will be a donut design and frosting lesson, special donut recipes, and donut-themed prints for your phone, according to a release. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to submit questions directly to Paul Racicot, director of R&D at Dunkin’ Brands.
For June 2, Dunkin’ Donuts is hosting a Facebook Live session with Dunkin’ Brands’ manager of donut excellence Rick Golden. Golden will be making donuts live and answering fan questions.
On National Donut Day, June 3, Dunkin’ Donuts fans will have access to special National Donut Day-themed Dunkin’ Donuts geofilters at or around locations nationwide. The chain is offering customers a free classic donut of their choice, while supplies last and at participating locations, with the purchase of any beverage.
