Henri Bendel Will Host A Shop To Stop Hunger Event To Benefit The Food Bank For New York City

Henri Bendel, the iconic New York City store for fashion accessories, will be hosting a Shop to Stop Hunger event on September 16 at their flagship store on Fifth Avenue to benefit the Food Bank For New York City.

Henri Bendel president Chris Fiore and Food Bank chief marketing officer Silvia Davi will be in attendance along with several notable celebrities including Laura Gomez from the Netflix show Orange is the New Black, and more.

Sprinkles Cupcakes, jcoco chocolate, and Lavazza will serve treats to guests and 10 percent of all proceeds will be donated to  the Food Bank For New York City.

September is Hunger Action Month and the event is part of the Food Bank's Go Orange to End Hunger campaign. This campaign has been active for the first past 10 years to get New Yorkers to support charities with soup kitchens and food pantries. People can help by wearing orange clothes and using the hashtag #GoOrangeNYC to raise awareness, volunteer at the Harlem Kitchen & Food Pantry, or start a virtual food drive on the Food Bank's website.
