Franklin Becker Of The Little Beet Will Open A Steakhouse

Franklin Becker, the prominent chef behind The Little Beet and the full service rendition, The Little Beet Table which opened in October will open a steakhouse with Richie Notar of Harlow and Harlow East, reports The New York Post.

Earlier this year, chef Becker also joined The Daily Meal for a Celebrity Chef event which featured an menu full of good fats.

At The Little Beet, Becker's detailed menu, complete with an allergen tracker and nutritional facts table, has helped the staff drop more than 500 pounds at last count.

Prior to The Little Beet, Becker had been the corporate chef of EMM Group, and has appeared on television cooking programs including Top Chef Masters and Iron Chef America. Becker is the author of several cookbooks, the latest of which is Good Fat Cooking, a collaboration with food writer Peter Kaminsky.

The yet-unnamed Becker-Notar steakhouse will reportedly be located at 285 Madison Avenue at 40th Street, near Grand Central Terminal.
