Andrew Zimmern Falls In Love With Grandma's Cooking In This 'Bizarre Foods' Clip

Tonight at 8 p.m., Andrew Zimmern will head to Croatia on the second episode of Bizarre Foods, season nine.

In the exclusive clip below, Zimmern enjoys a home-cooked meal with a multigenerational Croatian family who grows their own food. They even grow olive trees and produce their own olive oil.

After marveling over a beautifully cooked rooster, Zimmern goes inside to hang out with every family's favorite cook, Grandma.

"I know I'm a hopeless romantic, but if you don't see the history in those hands, something's wrong with you," Zimmern says of the grandmother whose generations-old cooking techniques — like baking bread over the hearth in her home — may not even be passed down to her own grandchildren.

"We all know that grandmother food is the best food in the world," Zimmern tells the camera.
