Edible Schoolyard Teams Up With Everlane For Custom Totes Designed By Your Favorite Chefs

Starting Wednesday, July 22, popular environmentally conscious clothing company Everlane is teaming up with Edible Schoolyard NYC — the community-based program that teaches public school students about gardening and cooking — for a sweet and stylish cause.

The online fashion company has partnered with five prominent chefs — April Bloomfield (The Spotted Pig, The Breslin, the John Dory); Chad Robertson (Tartine Bakery); Nick Anderer (Maialino, Marta); Ignacio Mattos (Estela); and Camille Becerra (Navy) — to create a sleek, personalized tote bag featuring a play on Everlane's motto, "Know your factories."

Pizza master Nick Anderer chose the slogan "Know Your Dough," tried-and-true locavore Bloomfield went with "Know Your Pig," sustainable seafood seeker Becerra urges shoppers to "Know Your Sole," and innovative baker Robertson went with "Know Your Grains."

Finally, cheeky risk-taker Mattos went with "Know Your Edibles" and wants you to know that yes, it does mean both the things you think it means.

All proceeds will benefit Edible Schoolyard NYC
