Download Virtual Dunkin' Donuts Cards With New Visa Checkout Mobile Pay Option

Dunkin' Donuts launched its first mobile payment app three years ago, and now DD will be integrating digital convenience with customer service to an even greater extent through their new partnership with Visa Checkout. The Visa Checkout feature will allow customers to pay easily with their smartphones, as well as purchase and reload virtual Dunkin' Donuts Cards.

"We are committed to leveraging the best technologies to allow our guests to purchase Dunkin' Donuts food and beverages as quickly and conveniently as possible," said Scott Hudler, vice president of global consumer engagement at Dunkin' Brands. "Visa Checkout gives us yet another powerful way to save our guests valuable time in their busy day, and makes it easier than ever to keep running on Dunkin'."

The campaign between the two brands is called "Get Stuff Dunkin'," and perhaps the most exciting part is that from now until June 14, when customers upload at least $25 to a new or existing Dunkin' Donuts virtual card, they will get $10 of free Dunkin' purchases. The marketing campaign will also feature comedic actor Joel McHale (Community, Ted), who, apparently, is a huge fan of virtual payment.

"I'm a busy guy, so I don't have time to fumble with a wallet or paper currency," he said.

Dunkin' Donuts will also launch a mobile ordering and delivery service next year.
