Do We Really Need Pizza-Flavored And PB&J-Flavored Salad Dressings?

Have you ever bit into a crunchy kale salad and thought to yourself, "Man, this would be great if it tasted more like pizza!" Well, you're in luck. Chef Kidd's has come up with a genius concept that will (supposedly) help kids become more interested in eating their vegetables: Funagrette.

Since you asked, Funagrette dressing turns boring old dressing into fun, recognizable kid's foods like cheesy pizza and peanut butter and jelly. There's also honey berry, cocoa berry, and lime rickey (though we doubt kids will know what that is). Each fun, colorful bottle promises to turn "yucks into yums!"

NPR's food bloggers just reviewed the dressing and their results are as follows: "This isn't a way to get kids to like salad. It's a way to get them to hate pizza."  Ouch. This could be on par with purple ketchup when it comes to creative ways to get kids to diversify their eating habits, but it's worth a try.
