DC Shake Shack Creates Jalapeño Burger To Honor Rachael Ray

Can you believe Rachael Ray has been gracing magazine stands for 10 years? To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the "Every Day with Rachael Ray" magazine, Shake Shack is releasing a limited-edition pickled jalapeño cheeseburger at their Dupont Circle, Washington D.C. location.

The burger, available the week of October 13, is topped with cheese, crispy marinated shallots, Gordy's Thai basil pickled jalapeños, and sriracha sauce. The burger's flavor profile highlights some of Rachael's favorite ingredients.

Rachael Ray can most likely call herself a burger expert by now: She is the host of the Burger Bash at both the New York City Wine & Food Festival and the south Beach Wine & Food Festival, and Every Day with Rachael Ray has previously published a Burger Battle Royale of the best burgers in America.

The burger, handcrafted by Shake Shack culinary director Mark Rosati, is just one burger creation created in honor of the magazine's anniversary. The other nine handpicked chefs include Alex Guarnaschelli, Katie Lee, Spike Mendelsohn, Stephanie Izard, Michael White, Michael Symon, Josh Capon, Sunny Anderson, and Marc Murphy.

Can't get down to D.C.? No worries: "Every Day with Rachael Ray" will also be publishing the official recipe in their November issue so you can try your hands at making this burger at home. You'll be able to see recipes for the other chefs' burger creations in that issue as well.
