David Chang's Maple Delivery Service Starts Today As Alternative To Seamless

David Chang wants to deliver delicious food to your door. Maple Delivery service, David Chang's food delivery service, debuts today in New York City. Unlike Seamless and GrubHub, the lunch and dinner options are not sourced from local restaurants, but are created in-house from daily, limited, rotating menus.

When you open the Maple iPhone or Android app, you'll be able to choose from one of three lunch or dinner options, including a vegetarian or vegan option. Why should you choose Maple over Seamless? Well, besides Chang's stellar reputation, the fact that the food comes from one source means standardized quality. Maple promises that the food will always come fresh and hot, and you'll pay a flat fee of $12 for lunch or $15 for dinner with fees, taxes, and tips included.

Now let's get down to the important business: the food. Here's a sample menu from Maple. For lunch: green chile enchilada, radish, and lime salad (white corn tortillas filled with Hatch green chiles, jalapeƱos, and poblanos, topped with cilantro, tomatillo green enchilada sauce, and Monterey Jack cheese). For dinner: baked Arctic char, braised leeks, roasted fennel, and broccoli rabe (the Arctic char is baked and served with savory green olive relish).

"Maple represents an enormous opportunity for impact," Davies told The Daily Meal. "Our commitment to sustainably raised food and sourcing, in addition to using only the best ingredients, means better meals on more people's tables."
