Who can say no to free ice cream?

Calling all soft serve fanatics! Dairy Queen is handing out free small vanilla cones at participating stores on March 20. The free ice cream celebration, “Chill and Grill,” doesn’t just signal the arrival of spring — it’s for a good cause too. While you’re saving about $2 on the delicious frozen treat, DQ is urging customers to consider donating to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a nonprofit organization that raises funds and awareness to help sick kids across North America.

“We can't think of a better way to show our appreciation to fans, kick off the spring season, and support such an amazing cause than with a Free Cone Day,” Dairy Queen said in a press release.

This Free Cone Day charity donation drive has been going on at Dairy Queen for the past 33 years.
