Create A Custom Magnum Bar In SoHo This Summer

Magnum opened its first U.S. storefront featuring a custom dipping bar in SoHo, at 134 Prince Street. It is described as the brand's "ultimate customizable ice cream indulgence," according to a release. The company has launched storefronts in more than 30 countries and 22 cities, including Florence, Manila, Sydney, Singapore, and Amsterdam.

At the dipping bar, guests can create their own custom Magnum bars for $7. They must first decide between vanilla bean and chocolate as their ice cream bar base, which is then hand-dipped in Belgian dark, milk, or white chocolate. Guests then choose three toppings from a selection of 20 "decadent and unexpected ingredients," which will rotate throughout the summer. Select toppings include rose petals, espresso sugar, gold flakes, sweet coconut flakes, and chopped hazelnuts.

"Since its introduction to the U.S. in 2011, Magnum Ice Cream set itself apart with expert craftsmanship and premium ingredients," said Nick Soukas, brand building director of Unilever Ice Cream in the U.S. "Now, Magnum New York will bring together the worlds of premium chocolate and ice cream in an indulgent and interactive store experience unlike any other."

The SoHo store is open daily from noon to 9 p.m. and the pop-up will be around through mid-August.
