Claws Out: Jamie Oliver Escalates Feud With Gordon Ramsay

The U.K.'s two biggest chefs are embroiled in a serious smackdown. The latest in the feud between The Naked Chef Jamie Oliver and Hell's Kitchen's Gordon Ramsay comes from Oliver, who quipped in a recent interview with The Mirror that Ramsay is "deeply jealous" of him and his career.

The quote was supposedly a retort to a comment Ramsay made months earlier in response to a comparison between the two chefs. Ramsay told CNBC at the time, "At least I'm here, I came to my opening, right? If you're going to open a restaurant in Hong Kong, at least turn up." These comments were made during the opening of his new Hong Kong restaurant.

In his interview with The Mirror, Oliver appears to respond to Ramsay's criticism of him, saying, "Gordon will do anything to try and take the p–s out of me because he is deeply jealous and can't quite work out why I do what I do and why he can't do that."

Ramsay's book sales reportedly total only 10 percent of Oliver's cookbook sales, which have reached 37 million. "I think that really, really annoys him," said Oliver.

Your serve next, Mr. Ramsay.
