Chefs Dale Talde And Chris Jaeckle Are Hosting A Dinner To Commemorate The Passing Of Biggie Smalls

On Monday, March 9, chefs Chris Jaeckle and Dale Talde will host a dinner honoring the memory of hip hop legend Christopher George Latore Wallace, better known as The Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls, on the 18th anniversary of his untimely death.

The dinner, which is part of All'onda's Guest Chef Dinner Series hosted by chef Jaeckle, will feature music curated by Brooklyn-based producer J. Period and alternating dishes from chefs Jaeckle and Talde.

Tickets are available for $85 per guest, for a number of seatings between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Highlights from the promising menu include "V8 juice drinkin, Slimfast blendin'" (spiced tomato juice) and "Escargot my car go 160 swiftly, wreck it buy a new one, crew run run your crew run run" (butter poached escargot, salsa verde, and parsley root puree) from Chris Jaeckle, and "Country house, tennis courts, and horseback ridin', decidin'" (cracked crab or lobster with black pepper jerk crab, and lobster toast) and "FACT: Being of Jamaican descent, Biggie liked his patties spicy from Golden Crust" (curried oxtail patties, pickled Scotch bonnet, and ginger relish) from Dale Talde.

Biggie-inspired cocktails will also be served, though they will not be included in the price of your ticket.
