When was the last time you experienced particularly outstanding customer service at a fast food chain? Temkin Ratings thinks they know the answer. [related] The Temkin Group rates 293 of the nation’s most recognizable companies annually, based on customer experience ratings from 10,000 survey participants. Chick-fil-A received the highest fast food customer experience rating for the fourth year in a row, with a total score of 82 percent. They came in fourth place overall.
"The fact that Chick-fil-A can stand out, year after year, for its customer experience amid such tough competition is really impressive," states Bruce Temkin, managing partner of Temkin Group, in a statement.
Chick-fil-A was followed by Papa John’s, Dairy Queen, Panera Bread, Subway, and Sonic Drive-In, which all received “excellent” ratings. Each scored higher than fast-casual favorites Chipotle, and Starbucks.
Surprisingly, most of the fast food chains faired pretty well in the ratings, with only Jack-in-the-Box receiving below a “good” rating.
