Burger King's Chicken Fries Are Back On The Menu

Burger King's beloved chicken fries — those popular, limited-edition hybrids of French fries and chicken nuggets — are back at certain select Burger King locations. Re-introducing the chicken fries to the menu is Gloria the chicken, an endearing marketing gimmick chicken who will be "taking over chicken fries duty" and making her way across the nation, distributing chicken fries to lucky locations.

Gloria will appear at random Burger King locations and spontaneously determine whether chicken fries will return there, or if customers will leave empty-handed. It's just like Groundhog's Day, except instead of predicting spring, the chosen mascot is predicting the appearance of fried chicken. BK fans will then be able to take sad or celebratory selfies with Gloria the chicken and post them to social media.

All of this means that Burger King is likely going to put chicken fries back on the menu in a less haphazard fashion, once this clucking nonsense has died down. Chicken fries are fried, lightly seasoned, and available for dipping in BBQ, Honey Mustard, Ranch, Zesty, Buffalo, and Sweet & Sour sauces.
