Burger King Now Has Fiery Chicken Fries That Are 'Offensively Spicy'

Burger King is introducing "offensively spicy" Fiery Chicken Fries for a limited time.

Back in March, Burger King restored Chicken Fries to their permanent menu after they were removed in 2012. Now they've come out with a spicy variety, seasoned with a blend of cayenne pepper, black pepper, and other spices "that will make your mouth cry." Both the breading and the white chicken meat are flavored with the spices.

Eric Hirschhorn, chief marketing officer of Burger King Corporation, said in a press release, "More than a quarter of taste testers even told us Fiery Chicken Fries were "spicy as $#*!", so when we heard that reaction we knew we had found the perfect level of heat."

Fiery Chicken Fries dipping sauces include barbecue, honey mustard, ranch, zesty, Buffalo, sweet and sour, and a new Chicken Fries Sauce, which tastes like a blend of honey mustard and barbecue.

The spicy Chicken Fries are packaged in a cup holder-friendly box, complete with a sauce holder. They cost $2.89 for a nine-piece order.
