Burger King Employee Assaulted For Not Accepting Coupons

Two Milwaukee women took 'hangry' to the next level in an alleged beatdown of a Burger King worker.

Latonia Howell and her daughter Jasmeika Simon each face up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines for felony charges of intentional causation of bodily harm.

It all began when Howell visited Burger King and wanted to use multiple coupons for her order, reports Fox 6 Now. When the employee informed Howell it was company policy that only one coupon could be used per transaction, she became upset and asked to speak with the manager. Howell walked out of the restaurant, saying "she was going to have her daughter come back to 'beat their (expletive),'" according to the complaint.

Howell returned to the restaurant with Simon, when Simon began punching the worker. Simon threatened to "go get her gun" and return to the store. Simon tells the police she "believed her mother was treated unfairly by an employee" and "went to intimidate the employee."
